I’ve had  a couple of panic attacks over the past few years, and trust me when I tell you that it is an ordeal so alarming and appalling that I’d not even wish it on someone I disliked.

A different and more radical way to stop panic attacks is to try and change your lifestyle and diet in a more positive way And by this I mean that you should get the basics right first, which will include having regular healthy meals and taking lots of exercise to help getting physically fit and help stimulate your mind into more positive thought. It also goes with out saying that you should try to avoid anything that can potentially overstimulate your body and mind, these will include anything that contains caffiene and alcohol

If the symptoms of your panic attacks become increasingly severe, for many people  an effective way of getting treatment is to go and see a psychotherapist or counsellor.This route can be expensive, but also very worthwhille. as a counsellor can teach you a variety of methods to conquering your fears. This should help  as cognitive therapy is recognised as a long term strategy in changing your negative behaviour and thus reducing the incidents of panic attacks. These simple steps should help you one the path to controllling your fear and therefore your life.
